Terms of Service

Afri-Skin ("Afri-Skin", "we", "us") operates this website and sells skincare products to customers in the United States. By accessing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order. We may update these terms at any time; the version posted on the site at the time of your order applies to that order.

Product descriptions, ingredient lists and images are provided for information and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. Formulas may be refined over time; the ingredient list printed on the product you receive is the authoritative one.

All prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax and shipping, which are shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time without notice, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

An order is an offer to buy. We confirm acceptance by email when the order ships. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example where stock is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud or resale.

Payment is processed at checkout by our payment provider. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We do not store full card numbers.

Shipping. We ship within the United States. Complimentary standard shipping applies to orders over $75 before tax; otherwise shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders ship within [2] business days. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, and risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier.

Returns. If a product does not suit your skin, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method, whether opened or not. Contact hello@afri-skin.com with your order number to receive a prepaid return label. Return shipping is deducted from the refund unless the product arrived damaged or incorrect. Sets are refunded as a whole; individual pieces from a set cannot be returned separately.

Refunds are issued within 10 business days of receiving the return. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Subscribe & Save orders renew automatically every 60 days at a 15% discount to the then-current price. You authorize us to charge your saved payment method on each renewal. You can skip, pause or cancel from your account at any time before the next renewal date; changes made after a renewal has processed apply to the following order.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Our products are cosmetics. They are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant or nursing, or are using prescription skincare, consult a dermatologist before use.

Patch test every new product on a small area for 48 hours before first full use. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation occurs. Keep products out of reach of children and away from eyes.

The Afri-Skin name, logo, product names, packaging, photography, copy and site design are owned by Afri-Skin or its licensors and protected by trademark and copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission, other than to browse and purchase.

By submitting a review, photo or comment, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with our products and marketing, and you confirm it is your own and does not infringe anyone's rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afri-Skin's total liability for any claim arising from an order or from use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [County, State], and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

What we collect. When you order, create an account or subscribe to our newsletter we collect your name, email, shipping and billing addresses, order history and, through our payment provider, payment confirmation. Our site also collects standard analytics data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.

How we use it. To fulfil and ship orders, manage your account and subscription, answer support requests, send marketing emails you have opted into, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with. Service providers who help us run the store: our e-commerce platform, payment processor, fulfilment partner, shipping carriers, email provider and analytics tools. Each receives only the data it needs to do its job and is bound by contract to protect it.

Your choices. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing privacy@afri-skin.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete, which you can exercise through the same address.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to run the bag and checkout, and analytics and advertising cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

We want everyone to be able to shop here. The site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines: keyboard navigation, visible focus states, text alternatives for images and sufficient contrast throughout. If you encounter a barrier, email accessibility@afri-skin.com and we will fix it or help you complete your purchase another way.
